I'm very big on storytelling and story branding, and I try to incorporate those concepts into all of my projects, from building a marketing strategy to hosting immersive events to creating magical paintings. Storytelling helps people connect in deep ways, to each other and to universal truths. It's my main goal in both my marketing and my art.
Experience
I have a bachelor's degree in marketing communications and a master's degree in public relations. Since graduating, I've worked worked in marketing, promotions, and events at the Storyteller's Cottage, iHeartMedia, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, Feel Good Shop Local, and WWLP-22News. I'm currently the Marketing and Event Manager at BusinessWest and Healthcare News.
Causes
I'm a strong advocate for mental health, I love animals, and I'm fascinated by history. I'm currently on the board of directors for the western Massachusetts affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and I'm a special events volunteer at the Zoo in the Forest Park. My YouTube channel focuses on animals, history & culture, travel, kalimba covers, and life experiences; and my blog focuses on mental health advice, and marketing tips.
Creativity
Art is a huge part of my life. Natasha's Creations encompasses the paintings, drawings, and crafts that I sell and make for fun. I can be found on Etsy and Instagram, at art exhibits and craft fairs throughout western Massachusetts, or working on commissions for needle felted projects. I'm also a theater kid at heart, and the stage is still my happy place, even if I haven't acted in a while. I recently fell in love with the kalimba, and my covers can be found on YouTube and Instagram.
